Ex-Machine Gun Felatio keyboardist/vocalist Pinky Beecroft's latest project sees him teamed up with Cameron Bruce (GUD, The Polaroids) and Nick Steward (George, Elixir). I don't know anything about the band, but with a lineup like that, I reckon it'd be worth a look in.

Tickets should be available soon!! I haven't missed these guys since they started playing at The Tivoli (that I'm aware of), and have had a great night every time. E is such an entertainer, and every time they tour they seem to put a new spin on their classics.
UPDATE: Unfortunately I've just been reminded that we've already got tickets for something else that night, so it looks like I'm going to miss out :-( . Hmm, I wonder how much flights are to the Sydney/Melbourne gigs...

Grand Salvo Troubadour
I first saw this Melbourne folk musician supporting someone (Darren Hanlon I think?) at The Troub. I enjoyed the set and his album he had on sale that night greatly. I haven't seen him since, but I'm planning to catch him at this gig, where he's launching his new album!
Unfortunately I missed this one in the end.
